In the international schools of Kobe, we had the opportunity to make good friends with children from both India and Pakistan. As students, they were smart. They were good in sports. They were friendly and open-minded. They were supported by close family ties. When the children grew up, they made good businessmen, scholars, researchers, doctors, teachers and other professionals. You don’t think of high-tech without admiring the creativity of the people from this region.

You have not been to a party, until you have been to an Indian party. The music is amazing, the food is wonderful, and the people love to sing, dance, joke and laugh. If you are a sincere person, you are accepted by them with open arms.

We dedicate this section to the Indian and Pakistani families of Kobe. They have contributed immensely to the international character of our city. Good relations between countries begin with good friendships between individuals. As India and Pakistan continue to grow and become stronger, we look to our close friends to promote understanding and respect between our countries and provide us with good company and true friendships that last a lifetime and can continue from generation to generation.
